K.W. Bruun Logistik Chooses Business Software from IBS
Press Release Nov 18, 2008
When logistics business K.W. Bruun Logistik decided to implement new business software, they looked at a number of providers, including IBS, Microsoft and SAP. IBS won the agreement thanks to its integration motor IBS Integrator, which is paired with the IBS Enterprise supply chain solution.
K.W. Bruun Logistik distributes spare parts for Peugeot imports in Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and Estonia. Because the company collaborates with many different business partners, they were searching for an open-standards solution that could integrate several different systems and support flexible currency and VAT handling.
Michael Dahl, Supply Chain Manager at K.W. Bruun Logistik, says, "In comparison with our partners, we now have a large number of different integration interfaces, with a need for an integration motor and open standards. After careful consideration, it became clear that IBS was strongest within the supply chain and was the best provider for us."
Camilla Persson, Key Account Manager at IBS, comments, "We have won a prestigious customer in K.W. Bruun. This agreement secures our position as the automotive segment leader and proves once again that we have a solution that is extremely attractive to the auto industry."
IBS Integrator can retrieve data from different business systems within a company or from customer or supplier systems. This application can simply and quickly read, process and send data – either manually or automatically – to and from different systems, regardless of the operating system or platform.
IBS Enterprise business software is designed for cost-effective supply chain management and execution. The solution handles all business processes from production and distribution to financial control and reporting.
