Leading consumables distributor chooses IBS' software

IBS has signed an agreement with Advent Data Ltd for ASW software. The order, worth £240,000, includes modules for distribution, warehouse management, Financials, Inventory Management, Internet trading and alert management.
Advent is a trade only distributor of EOS and Office Equipment. Now in their 12th year of trading and with a projected annual turnover for 2001-2002 in excess of £60m, Advent MD, Raj Advani realised that a more efficient software system would help them to maintain their enviable position as one of Europe's fastest growing distributors in the industry.
Key issues that needed resolving for Advent were being able to decrease the Time it took to produce management information and reporting, increase customer service levels, and make the Inventory Control system more efficient, which for products of a complex nature was a difficult solution to find. Having looked at several suppliers, Mr Advani decided on IBS. The IBS software enables all aspects of the business to become more efficient and offers a high degree of integration regarding the company's Distribution and supply chain operations. The ASW software fitted right into Advent's business, with very few modifications needed.
