IBS' new Italian subsidiary prospers
Press Release Feb 13, 2001
IBS' recently established Italian subsidiary has in a short period of time won six important orders for IBS' ASW software, which targets Distribution and supply chain companies. The software covers distribution and supply chain operations, e-business and business analysis and control. The total order value exceeds $2 million.
The Italian market is one of Europe's largest. Its industry structure is well in line with IBS' target market, and we have experienced a rapidly growing interest for our Distribution and e-Business solutions. IBS' subsidiary was established in Milan in September, 1999. Now that we have our own operations there, we can see how our market penetration is sharpened, says Anders Hedbring, Vice President, International Operations for the IBS Group.
The deals have been signed with General Cosmetics Corporation – wholesale distributors of body care products, Mogar Music – wholesale distributors for the music industry, Fogliani – wholesale distributors in electronics, Meccanica Finnord -distributors of spare parts for the automotive industry, Bahco – distributors of tools, and Unifarm – distributor of pharmaceuticals.
