IBS acquires software company in Brazil
Press Release Sep 12, 2000
IBS has acquired all shares in INFOX Ltda, based in Sao Paolo. The company has some 20 employees, and is focused on supply chain management software solutions. INFOX customers include large companies, such as Sylvania, Lear Corporation, SKF, Cartier, Singer and Volvo. Operations will be integrated with IBS Brasil, bringing the total number of employees in Sao Paolo to more than 30.
We will now achieve a larger critical mass for continued expansion in the Brazilian market, says Magnus Wastenson, VP International Marketing at IBS Corporate Headquarters. Brazil is in an interesting phase of expansion. IBS' extensive Portuguese operations, which are closely linked to the operations of IBS Brasil, are furthermore generating many new customers and valuable contacts in Brazil.
