Project Managers are responsible for managing all aspects of a client relationship, plus the internal resources assigned to that client for the duration of a software implementation project.
IBS is seeking individuals who can demonstrate strong leadership, possess outstanding oral & written communication skills, and have the analytical background and experience to assist clients in identifying and resolving business issues through the use of computer-based solutions. The ability to work both independently or as a member of a team is a must. Candidates with warehouse distribution and/or financial services experience will be given priority consideration. Knowledge of the IBM iSeries (AS/400), client/server computing or other PC applications a definite plus. Four to six years relevant experience and a proven track record of delivering quality service and support to satisfied customers is required. Position includes periodic travel to client sites for project start-up and software installation & training.
AS/400 Programmers (all levels)
Candidates for technical positions must possess and demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of IBM iSeries (AS/400) computer processing including the RPG 400/ILE programming and CL job control languages. Individuals seeking programming opportunities will be evaluated based upon their previous experience and technical capabilities. Practical experience writing functional and technical design specifications a definite plus. Hands on client/server training or other PC knowledge helpful. We are seeking candidates who function well in a team environment. Good communication skills a must; interfacing directly with clients is a normal occurrence at IBS. Previous distribution and/or financial services experience an added plus but not required. Occasional travel to client sites may be necessary for senior technicians.
Financial Systems Consultant
We are seeking individuals to join our team of accounting professionals for implementing IBS' proprietary financial accounting software, including training and client support. Candidates must possess a fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and a BS degree in accounting. A minimum of five years experience in the accounting field is required. Candidates must be able to speak and write clearly and concisely and possess good interpersonal skills. System implementation and private industry experience a plus. Experience on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) and in the distribution industry is preferred. Being a CPA is a plus, but not preferred over solid and related experience. The position requires one week traveling around the US as much as twice a month, rarely on weekends.
Account Executive
If you are looking for an account executive position with a wholesale distribution software company then IBS wants to speak with you. AMR reports IBS to be "The Top Ranked Supply Chain Execution Software Company." Candidates will have a minimum of three years distribution experience, or selling experience in a related field. Strong communication and presentation skills a must. Candidates must be able to travel 25-40% a month.
Product Specialist/Sales Application Consultant
We are seeking a highly motivated individual interested in preparing and delivering demonstrations of IBS' Distribution/Supply Chain Execution software to prospective clients. Ideal candidates will have practical, real-world experience in the wholesale distribution industry and/or presenting supply-chain software solutions.
IBS seeks a high-energy candidate with a track record of success. High inner-personal work standards coupled with a strong commitment to do whatever it takes to get the job done. A good business analyst, who will be called upon to survey a prospective business, and translate functionality into return on investment (ROI) opportunities. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills are a must, and knowledge of the IBM iSeries is also a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is a must, particularly MS PowerPoint. The candidate must be an effective, articulate oral and written communicator.
Must be willing to relocate. The position will service North America, but office in IBS America's headquarters in Folsom, Ca (30 miles east of Sacramento), and the position requires 25-40% travel.
Competitive experience a plus: JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, Nxtrend, Profit 21, Daly.commerce, IDS, Intentia, IFS, Vormittag (VAI), Great Plains, Navision, Manhattan, Prelude, Lawson, etc.
No head-hunters or research firms. The candidates must represent themselves, every step of the way. Salary discussions will begin at $65,000 per year depending on experience, with commissions.
